Why we want to sell incense ?
The smells around us have an impact on how we feel. Unfortunately, during recent times, the prevailing smell seems to be disinfectant and antibac! We want to change that.
I have spent a lot of time in India and always had a stick of incense burning. I have had hundreds of different ones over the years; however, there is one that has stood out above all the rest. Fortunately, this is made in Goa, where I have spent a lot of my time, making it easy to keep a ready supply on hand. Since leaving Goa, I realised how much I missed that beautiful smell and made efforts to ask a friend to send me some. I have now asked them to send more so that we can make it available to everyone.
The incense is produced by a man called Ram Krishna. He is a healing magician who sources essential oils from all over India and sells these oils and incense from his small shop. They are all-natural hand-rolled sticks.
10% of all profits for our Manuka Honey will be going to The Goa Foundation.
The Goa Foundation is the most well known of Goa’s environmental action groups. Founded in 1986 by a group of Goan environmentalists each flighting his or her own individual environmental battles, the organisation today commands the respect of judiciary, government and the general public for persisting with its environment agenda for more than three decades.
The work of the Foundation spans different areas and fields, all related in some way or another with the conservation of Goa’s natural environment.
